Germaine van Dievoet (26 September 1899 – 30 October 1990) was a competition swimmer. Van Dievoet was born in Brussels, Belgium to architect Henri van Dievoet. Germaine van Dievoet married in Uccle 23 August 1937, Willy Dessecker, born 16 January 1901 and deceaded in Uccle (Clinique des deux Alices) 22 March 1996. She was one of the few Belgian woman to have participated in the 1920 Summer Olympics, which were celebrated at Antwerp, in Belgium from 20 April until 12 September 1920. She competed in the 100 meter swim, but was disqualified in a semi-final race, finishing fourth. She was the only Belgian to compete in the race.
